The new 21700 battery from Fenix can handle twice the power of a standard 18650 battery. The additional mAh's allow flashlights like the PD36R and TK22 to have longer run times. What makes this 21700 battery even better is the USB Type-C charging port that is embedded in the cell. You don't have to use a separate charger to charge the battery; it can all be done with a wall adapter and USB Type-C charging cord. It is likely that you already have these in your home since many cellphones use this same type of charging port. Currently, the Fenix 5000U 21700 battery is compatible with the Fenix PD36R, TK22 V2.0, and TK22UE. Compatible chargers include the Fenix ARE-A2, A4, D1, and D2. Fenix plans to continue developing flashlights that are compatible with the 21700 batteries.

we have bought 6 Fenix flashlights in October & December 2023, out of that 2 chargeable batteries had to be replaced due to lack of charging, although they were in 12 months warranty period, we had no option of Factory replacement and we spent Rs.7000 for New batteries. As in Mumbai, there are no service centres for Lightmen and we could not courier the same to Hyderabad due to company policy and additional courier costs.
Flashlight product Fenix E35R - 31720K03387 bought in October 2023.
it has become a liability, as batteries worn out within 1 yr and bearing extra cost for no reason.

Most of the flashlights we bought use the BIS certified high-powered 3.6V, 21700 Li-ion ARB-L21 5000 mAh batteries. We purchased 2 nos. of these self-charging USBC batteries. These new batteries can handle twice the power of a standard Fenix 18650 battery with much higher runtime. Excellent customer support is always provided by Mr Rajeev. He explains lucidly as a friend, guides quickly to right decisions, and is readily available on phone. Due to Rajeev's genuine and pleasant dealings, I and my colleagues bought several flashlights: LR50R, LR80R, TK65R, HT30R laser torch, TK16V2, 3 nos. of E35R, C7, the lanterns: CL28R and 2 nos. of CL26R Pro. We also bought 2 nos. of AOD diffusers and an ALL-01 Soft Flashlight Lanyard. We thank the superb customer service provided by everyone at “LightMen”.
