The BC45R is Fenix's most powerful bike light, built for the demands of mountain biking, trail riding, adventure racing and long night rides. Five LEDs (one SFT40 and four SST12) combine for up to 3300 lumens and a beam that reaches 286 metres, so you see roots, rocks, ruts, potholes and turns long before you reach them.

Spotlight and Floodlight: use either, or both

The BC45R has two independent beams with their own controls:

• Spotlight (up to 2000 lumens, 269 m): a focused, long-reaching beam for fast descents, open trails and unlit highways.
• Floodlight (up to 1500 lumens): a wide beam that lights up the full width of the trail and your surroundings, ideal for technical sections, tight corners and riding in traffic.
• Both together: long reach and wide coverage at once. Or hit Turbo for the full 3300 lumens when you need maximum light instantly.

With 9 lighting modes across the two beams, you can set up exactly the light you need for the trail, the road or the city.

Wireless remote: never take your hands off the bars

The included wireless remote straps to your handlebar next to your grip. Switch the Spotlight and Floodlight on and off, change brightness, fire instant Turbo or switch to Flash, all with your thumb and without letting go. On rough trails, that's a real safety advantage. Pairing is a one-time setup, and the remote remembers the light after that.

A Sleep mode, set from the remote, turns the light off during breaks or well-lit stretches and wakes it instantly at your last setting with a single click.

OLED display: know exactly what's happening

A built-in OLED screen shows which beams are on, your current brightness level and lumen output, battery level and charging status at a glance. No guessing how much ride time you have left on a long night out.

Beam modes

*Turbo runtime includes automatic step-down to lower output to manage heat. Figures are from Fenix laboratory testing with two ARB-L18-3400 batteries at 21±3°C; real-world results vary with conditions and battery.

The Spotlight and Turbo give you the reach for fast descents and dark trails. The Floodlight suits group rides, traffic and technical climbs, and its Eco mode runs for nearly 2.5 days. Flash makes you highly visible in daytime traffic.

Swappable batteries and 18W fast charging

The BC45R runs on two Fenix ARB-L18-3400 (18650) batteries, both included, in a removable battery case. On long rides or multi-day tours, carry a spare pair and swap them in seconds.

It also charges inside the light through an internally waterproofed USB Type-C port with 18W fast charging: about 3.5 hours from empty to full on a 9 V / 2 A adapter. Lower Spotlight and Floodlight modes can be used while charging. A 9 V fast charger is required for the quoted charging time and is not included.

When the battery drops below 10%, the OLED battery icon blinks and the light automatically limits output (Spotlight to 200 lumens, Floodlight to 50 lumens) to stretch your remaining runtime. It never switches itself off suddenly, so you're never left in the dark mid-ride.

Built for Indian roads and trails

• IP66 rated: protected against dust and heavy rain, so monsoon rides and muddy trails are no problem. (Not designed for submersion.)
• A6061-T6 aluminium body with a glass lens and 1.5-metre impact resistance handles rough trails, potholes and falls.
• Quick-release mount: click the light in and out in seconds, so you can take it with you when you park. Fits round handlebars from 22 to 35 mm with the included shims.
• Intelligent overheat protection steps output down at 55°C and restores it as the light cools.
• Memory function recalls your last-used mode (except Turbo and Flash), and a lockout prevents accidental switching on in a bag.

Good to know
