Very satisfied with the replacement to my Leatherman P2 which I have used for many years.

I’ve owned many Victorinox Swiss knifes and leatherman in the past. This is probably gonna be my lasf for a long time. The build quality is what you expect out of a premium leatherman with it’s 25 year warranty. But the one handed operation of this model is second to none. Highly recommend if you’re looking for that perfect multitool.

The P4 being the latest in their line up of multitools. Have had various multitools but Leatherman being my favorite for obvious reasons. The innovations of a magnetic architecture, easy access to the tools (no more broken/ chipped nails) making this a perfect choice. Love the way pliers click in to the lock. Compact and handy, in comparison to its predecessors hosting the same number of tools.

The Free P4 with its magnetic architecture is the best Leatherman tool I've owned to date. Initially it does feel unnaturally light in the opening action of the pliars and smaller tools but only because of how accustomed I have become to the hefty action of my older tools. I have been using numerous Leatherman tools in my line of work as an engineer in the merchant navy and as EDC pocket tools while ashore. The new P4 addresses the main gripe I have with the older models that is accessing the inner tools with short fingernails. The P4 continues the excellent build quality and attention to detail that I've come to know and love of Leathermans.
