The Fenix LR50R V2.0 is a professional multi-light-source search and rescue flashlight. It combines four lighting systems in one body: a long-range spotlight, a wide floodlight, a red light and a powerful 10W UV light. Together, the six Luminus SST70 white LEDs deliver up to 18000 lumens and a beam that reaches 846 metres, enough to light up an entire hillside, river bank, disaster site or industrial yard.

It's built for disaster response, search and rescue, fire and emergency services, police, forest departments, industrial safety and large-site security, where one light has to do everything.

Spotlight, Floodlight, or both

• Spotlight (up to 9000 lumens, 808 m): a focused, long-range beam to search far across open ground, water or valleys.
• Floodlight (up to 9000 lumens): a wide, even wall of light that floods a whole scene, ideal for working an incident site or a large area up close.
• Spot + Flood together (up to 18000 lumens, 846 m): maximum reach and maximum coverage at the same time.

Single-click the electronic switch to move between them. Then turn the rotary toggle switch to dial brightness up or down steplessly, so you get exactly the light the situation needs instead of fixed steps.

Red light: preserve night vision, signal for help

The 210-lumen red light provides gentle, glare-free illumination that protects your night vision, useful for reading maps, working inside a team or moving at night without blinding others. Red flash mode works as a long-distance warning and distress signal. On its lowest setting, red light runs for an exceptional 670 hours.

10W UV light for professional inspection

A dedicated 365 nm UV LED with 10W of optical power, a spot reflector and a black filter forms a powerful long-range UV inspection system. Use it for leak detection, industrial and security inspection, forensic work and finding fluorescent markers or traces across large areas.

UV safety: UV light can damage eyes and skin. Never look into the UV beam or shine it at people or animals, and wear UV-protective goggles and skin protection when using it. For professional use only.

18000-lumen Strobe and 50-lumen SOS

An 18000-lumen Strobe blinds and deters threats, including wildlife, giving you crucial time to get away in an emergency. A sustained 50-lumen SOS sends a clear distress signal while using very little power, so it can keep signalling for a long time.

Beam modes

*High output runtimes include automatic step-down due to temperature protection. All modes except Strobe and SOS support stepless brightness between the listed levels. Figures are from Fenix laboratory testing (ANSI/PLATO FL1) with the 32000mAh battery stick at 21±3°C; real-world results vary with conditions.

32000mAh battery that doubles as a power bank

A massive 32000mAh (46950) battery stick gives up to 195 hours of white light and 670 hours of red light. The battery stick is replaceable: unscrew the head and swap in a fully charged spare of the same model for back-to-back operations.

Two hidden USB Type-C ports at the tail handle both charging and discharging:

• Orange port: 45W fast charging in, 18W fast charging out.
• Black port: 18W fast charging in and out.
• Using both ports together, the light charges from nearly empty to full in about 3 hours.
• Works as a power bank to fast-charge phones, radios, GPS units and other devices in the field (PD and QC supported).

Fast charging needs a PD fast charger (45W for the orange port), which is not included. Standard 5 V adapters also work, more slowly. While charging or discharging, the light still works, with white light limited to about 900 lumens.

OLED smart display and 10-step battery gauge

The OLED display shows the current lumen output, lighting mode, remaining battery percentage, runtime left in the current mode and charging status in real time. You always know exactly how long you have. A tail gauge of 10 green indicators shows battery level in 10% steps with a single click.

Smart safety features

• Intelligent brightness downshift: if the head stays within about 6 cm of an object for 1.5 seconds, output drops to 50 lumens automatically to prevent burns or heat damage, then restores when you move away. This can be switched on or off.
• Toggle-switch lockout: turn the rotary switch to its stop position to lock the light, so it can't switch on during transport.
• Intelligent overheat protection steps output down at 65°C and restores it as the light cools.
• Low-voltage warning: the light steps down gradually to the lowest output and the display flashes the battery icon, so it never cuts out without warning.
• Mode memory: recalls your last-used white or red/UV mode.
