Fenix HM61R V3.0 – 1800 Lumen Rechargeable Headlamp & Right-Angle Flashlight

The Fenix HM61R V3.0 is a reliable, multifunction headlamp for work, camping and everyday outdoor use. It delivers up to 1800 lumens with a beam that reaches 195 metres, and it's built tough with an aluminium body, IP68 waterproofing and 2-metre impact resistance. Use it on your head for hands-free work, or unclip it from the headband and use it as a compact right-angle flashlight.

Spotlight, floodlight and red light

• Spotlight (Luminus SST40 Gen2, up to 1800 lumens, 195 m): a strong, focused beam for seeing far down a trail, a tunnel or a work site.
• Floodlight (OSRAM CRI90, up to 200 lumens): a wide, even light with high colour accuracy, so wires, labels, components and food look true to life. Ideal for close-up tasks and camp work.
• Red light (up to 70 lumens, plus red flash): preserves your night vision and avoids dazzling others. It's now 14 times brighter than the V2.0's red light, bright enough to actually work by.

Headlamp or flashlight, magnet or clip

The light body slides out of the headband mount and becomes a right-angle flashlight that you can hold, clip to a pocket or strap with the body clip, or stick to any steel surface with the magnetic tail-cap. Attach it to a vehicle, machinery, an electrical panel or a toolbox and work with both hands free.

Modes

With 11 lighting modes across three light sources, there's a setting for every job. Turbo throws light far down the trail, and the floodlight's Low setting runs for 268 hours, over 11 days of continuous light, on a single charge.

Dual switch control

A dual side switch separates mode switching from brightness selection, so you can move between spotlight, floodlight and red light and set the exact brightness quickly, even with gloves on.

Intelligent brightness downshift

A built-in proximity sensor detects when the light is very close to an object, such as your hands, a map or a component you're working on, and automatically lowers the brightness to prevent glare and heat. It's switched on by default.

Tip: if the light dims unexpectedly while you're changing modes, your hand may be covering the sensor. To turn the sensor off, press and hold the mode switch for 6 seconds while the light is off. It will flash 8 times to confirm.

3400mAh replaceable battery and USB-C charging

The HM61R V3.0 runs on a Fenix ARB-L18-3400 (18650, 3400mAh) battery that you can replace, so you can carry a spare on long trips. It charges directly in the light through a USB Type-C port with inner waterproofing. No separate charger and no fiddly magnetic cable.

Use a USB adapter rated at least 2 A for a full charge. Low-power adapters, such as older phone chargers, may not fully charge the battery.
