We bought two AOD diffusers, one -M and one -S V2. The AOD diffuser-M was purchased for Fenix HT30R, the laser search light, and -S V2 was bought for the small but extremely useful Fenix E35R flashlight. Both these diffusers use special optical materials, are durable, impact and temperature resistant. They soften the light into a camping light, signalling light or reading light. The diffusers are also useful in converting the flashlight into a table light.

AOD-S V2 perfectly fits the Fenix E28R flashlight and bumps up its utility to a greater degree as advertised

It is a very bright light in a small package, but the head gets uncomfortably hot at 3000 lumens within a few seconds. I was surprised at the practical difference in lumens. I saw a lot of reviews where they have measured the lumen outputs with scientific instruments & found out to be actually more than the advertised numbers. But the fact is, lumens seems like an exponential scale; for instance the difference between 1200 lumens & 3000 lumens is not that big. Its not a con, but just an observation, i believe it is the same for every flashlight. The battery is strong, I've been using this light for a week now, and it still shows constant green on the battery indicator (75-100%). The only issue I fear in the long run might be wear & tear on the nodes of the battery due to friction, as one has to physical open up the battery compartment to charge it. But thats just a fear I have, no troubles yet, neither did I find anything online regarding similar concerns. To conclude, go for it, even 1.5 years later, it is still at the top of the value for money options in the market. 5000 mah, usb c, compact size under 5 inches, big lumens, doesnt get much better than this. Though the light is a bit diffused due to a diffuser lens, but that is what i prefer, compared to a concentrated throw. One small issue is, the lanyard they provide doesn't have an adjustment system to lock it into the wrist, so the lanyard tends to fall out of the hand and I finally decided to remove it for good, since it also has a built in pocket clip. I also bought a fenix light diffuser which effectively turns this into a lantern with a long battery life, since storm season is nigh & power outages arent unheard of. The diffuser works fine, as intended, no complaints there. Coming to a review of LightMen, rest assured you are in good hands. I previously bought the fenix E03R from them, that was my first purchase from them, they were prompt back then, now its even better since this is a bigger, costlier flashlight, & they provided free engraving. The quality of the engraving is fabulous. They also did the same exactly according to the font style I chose, and a requested sub-font under that style which I preferred. The customer executive at the store called me up before the engraving to make sure of everything. And then I got the product delivered by BlueDart, all the way in Kolkata from Hyderabad just the next day of engraving!!!! I was pleasantly surprised. I hope them the best of success for bringing such premium products for the niche market in India, while paying almost equivalent prices as US, which are generally far higher than indian prices on other websites.
