The Fenix WT 16 R is compact with a bright light and a beautiful finish as well as a side light .The delivery was prompt.

Great combo of Spotlight + Floodlight

I do own a snap-on diffuser for my other Fenix torches, and a separate Fenix camp light - CL09. So initially it was difficult to take a cool on whether to get this WT16R

I like the overall shape and how this torch fits in my hand. The material is of good quality plastic with no sharp edges.
It's got a spotlight (white), and a side-floodlight (warm)
The floodlight is good for working, reading, etc. As opposed to a diffuser / camp light (CL09) which radiates light on all directions including your eyes, this stays focussed on one broad area giving much-needed relief to your eyes (much like the LAMP SHADE of a reading lamp)
The spotlight is 300 lumen only but is "more than sufficient" for most of my job. It also remembers the last brightness settings for both Spotlight and floodlight (unlike some of the other models), which I like.
It has two strong magnets, one on the tail end, and the other on the side opposite the floodlight
The side magnet is not at the center, so the torch may not stay horizontal for smooth weak magnetic surfaces (e.g. fridge)
However, when attached to my steel almirah, it grips very strongly and maintains its horizontal position.
Double click locks the torch preventing it from accidentally switching on inside the pocket/bag.

And, last but not least... I really liked the "super-prompt" shipment (from Lightmen) and delivery the very next day...!

Hand Torch with the added benefit of a Headlamp!

Normally I carry a hand torch and a headlamp (to work in dark spaces while working with both hands) with me at work . With this, now I can just use the side lamp and back clip attached to my shirt pocket for working with both hands in dark spaces. The overall build quality is excellent.
The reduced star rating is due to the quality of service from Lightmen this time, wherein it took quite a few messages being sent back and forth on WhatsApp to get it resolved. Hopefully it was a onetime incident and future purchases would be seamless as before.
