A workhorse built to be used hard
The iconic box-frame, in a slimmer size
The Rebar uses the square-handled, sloped-neck design of the Super Tool® 300 and Micra, scaled down to a 10 cm tool that weighs 188.5 g.
The flat handles spread the pressure across your palm, so it feels solid and comfortable when you squeeze the pliers hard.
Replaceable wire cutters
The Rebar was the first 4-inch Leatherman with replaceable wire and hard-wire cutters. When the edges wear down after years of cutting, you swap the cutters instead of replacing the tool.
An electrical crimper and wire stripper complete the set for quick electrical jobs.
Two blades, a saw, and every tool locks
A plain 420HC blade for clean slicing, a serrated blade for rope and cord, and a saw for branches and pipe. Every tool except the plier head locks open, so nothing folds onto your fingers while you push.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear (including wear on the black finish), misuse, and lost or stolen tools are not covered. Keep your LightMen invoice, as it's your proof of purchase.
Keep it working like new
Clean
Rinse in warm, soapy water, then dry it fully with the tools open.
Oil
Put a drop of light oil on each pivot and work the tools open and shut a few times.
Replace worn cutters
When the wire cutters lose their bite, they can be swapped. Ask us about replacements.
Sharpen
420HC sharpens easily on any stone or pull-through sharpener.

What comes in the box?
The Rebar multi-tool and a quick-release lanyard ring, so you can carry it however you like from day one.
Do all the tools lock?
Yes. Every tool except the plier head locks open, so nothing folds back while you're working. Press the lock to close it.
Should I choose the Rebar or the Wave+?
The Rebar is lighter, and costs less. The Wave+ adds scissors, bit drivers, a diamond file and one-handed blades that open from the outside.
Does the black finish scratch?
Yes. Black oxide wears to bare steel at the edges with use. It doesn't affect performance, but if you want a tool that looks new for longer, choose stainless steel.
Can I take it on a flight?
Not in your cabin bag, because it has blades. Pack it in checked luggage.
Can I get it engraved?
Yes, laser engraving is free on Leatherman tools. Add a name, date, message or company logo. See examples of our engraving.
How quickly will it reach me?
We ship from Hyderabad within one business day, and orders placed before 11 am ship the same day. Delivery time after that depends on your city.
