Non-reflective black finish
Every part, from frame and tools to fasteners, is finished in black oxide, which cuts glare and gives the tool a uniform, low-key look.
Replaceable working parts
The cutters, punch, bronze scraper and cutting hook are all replaceable. When a part wears out from hard use, you swap the part instead of replacing the tool.
Opens with one hand, every tool locks
The blade, saw and cutting hook open from the outside with one hand. Every tool locks open, so nothing folds back while you work.
Carry-ready out of the box
A MOLLE sheath fits load-bearing vests and packs, and a removable pocket clip is fitted. Three spare bits store in the handle, so they stay with the tool.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear (including wear on the black finish and on replaceable parts), misuse, lost bits, and lost or stolen tools are not covered. Keep your LightMen invoice, as it's your proof of purchase.
Keep it working like new
Clean
Rinse in warm, soapy water after dusty or muddy use, then dry it fully with the tools open.
Oil
Put a drop of light oil on each pivot. Black oxide resists rust best when it's kept lightly oiled.
Replace worn parts
The cutters, punch, scraper and cutting hook are replaceable. Ask us about replacements.
Sharpen
420HC sharpens easily on any stone or pull-through sharpener.

What is the adjustment accessory for?
It's a small, hardened S7 tool-steel accessory for fine adjustments, with a magnetic bit driver for tightening loose screws on your gear.
Can I replace worn parts?
Yes. The fine-wire cutters, punch, bronze scraper and cutting hook are all designed to be replaced. Message us and we'll help you source the part.
Does the black finish wear?
Black oxide slowly wears to bare steel at edges that see heavy use. It doesn't affect performance, and a light coat of oil helps protect it.
Is it good as a collector's piece or gift?
