Ruike M671-TZ Pocket Tool
The Ruike M671-TZ is a short and sturdy pocket knife for EDC use. It is the titanium version of the Ruike P671. You open the Ruike M671-TZ with the double thumb stud. Alternatively, you can use the front flipper to open the knife. The titanium handle makes the M671 a tough, sleek EDC pocket knife that you can use for years to come.
The handle is entirely made from titanium. Lightweight and strong. The blade is made from 154CM steel. This is a stainless steel that retains its sharpness for a long time and is easy to sharpen. The liner lock prevents the blade from closing during use.

Serviced the brand new knife and tuned it to flip smoothly and reliably.
1. Excess lock bar tension made it difficult to flip it open with the thumb studs. Even worse yet with the front flipper. Relieved spring tension.
2. The bearing cage had injection moulding flash that prevented it from rotating smoothly. Polished it off.
3. Factory contamination caused gritty action. Cleaned and lubed all bearings and moving parts.
4. Drop shut wasn't possible despite dual ball bearings due to excessive detent force. Lubed the ceramic detent ball and opposing surface, and reduced detent force.
This is a great knife with good quality components. Just let down by the lack of tuning and poor lubing at the factory. Understandable considering the cost.
But with some tuning, it now has an action that's comparable to premium knives.
