The Nitecore CI6 Chameleon is a truly unique product that features two primary light sources (White and Infrared) plus secondary red, green and blue LED's.

Control of these output types is simple thanks to a cleverly designed dual side switch with independent white and colour buttons. The dual switch also includes a power indicator light to let you know when the batteries are low.

The primary white source is derived from a Cree XP-G2 with a maximum output of 440 lumens.

A separate 1.5 watt infrared LED with a wavelength of 850 nanometres. Infrared is used in night vision equipment when there is insufficient visible light to see. Night vision devises operate through a process involving the conversion of ambient light photons into electrons that are then amplified by a chemical and electrical process and then converted back into visible light. Infrared light sources can be used to augment the available ambient light for conversion by night vision devices, increasing in-the-dark visibility without actually using a visible light source.

In addition to the two primary outputs there are secondary low level red, green and blue LED's. The CI6 also works well as a weapon mounted light with a spring loaded impact absorption mechanism and can be used with the Nitecore RSW1 remote pressure switch.

Powered by a single 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery (recommended for the best run-times) or two primary (non-rechargeable) CR123A cells.

Includes belt holster, wrist lanyard, titanium plated pocket clip, removable tactical grip ring and spare O-rings.
